As both an artist and experienced educator, I bring a creative, patient, and engaging style to core subject tutoring. I offer private sessions in reading, writing, math, science, Spanish, and executive functioning skills (Pre-K–8), blending structure with imagination to meet students where they are—and help them grow. Whether your child needs academic support or enrichment, I use a multi-sensory approach and hands-on methods to make learning stick.
With over 14 years of teaching experience and a background in the arts, I specialize in supporting children of all learning styles with a warm, personalized approach.

Creativity isn’t just for art—it’s how I teach! I use visuals, stories, games, and drawing-based techniques to help kids understand and remember concepts. This helps build confidence and keeps learning engaging.

I offer in-person sessions at select local locations, including The St. James and local libraries, and virtual sessions via Zoom and Google Meet. For gym-based tutoring, sessions can happen while you're working out or while your other child is engaged in sports practice!

I’m a Virginia certified educator with over 14 years of experience working with children in both classroom and one-on-one settings. I have a Masters of Science in Special Education and an Advanced Certificate in Autism Spectrum Disorders from Brooklyn College.
I’ve taught a range of ages and subjects, and I specialize in creative, student-centered instruction. My background in both education and the arts allows me to bring flexibility, patience, and engaging strategies to every tutoring session.
